Psychological

Assessment

Assessment, Evaluation and Testing all refer
to an examination process during which a psychologist collects reliable and valid information about a person's abilities in a range of areas.

Comprehensive, Independent evaluations

provide clients with the most objective

information available to help make important

life decisions.

Psychoeducational Assessment: If your

child is having difficulties learning or adjusting

to the educational setting, obtaining an educational neuropsychological evaluation is often the only way to reveal the underlying causes for many problems.

Comprehensive evaluations are important to ensure that nothing important is misssed.

Independent evaluations are important because the psychologist is only working for you (not the school, hospital, or therapist - each of which has their own agenda).

Timely evaluations are critical for getting the serivices students need as soon as possible. Delays in obtaining assessments waste important opportunities for early development.
